You may have experienced blockages today that are often due to old wounds and unconscious behaviour patterns, deeply lived and ingrained in our own individual physiology and brain synapses with reactive, automated behaviour. This can negatively affect your nervous system in stressful situations and create imbalance inside you. WHOLE recognises that it takes courage to take the next step and helps you see the opportunity to discover and understand in a dignified way why you have reacted the way you have and what you can do to move forward towards a life lived with a different, deeper and conscious intention and core joy and where you no longer allow yourself to be controlled by external, non-beneficial factors.
WHOLE services equip you with tools suitable for everyone, beginners and seasoned practitioners, to use in everyday life to create new, mentally healthy and empowering ways of living, so that your nervous system continuously has a chance to create fundamental stability and long-term wellbeing. My name is Åsa
My closest friends would define me as warm-hearted, multilingual, enthusiastic, empathic, humorous, passionate, human, authentic, down-to-earth, deeply devoted to various roles such as yogi, teacher, leader, trainer, creator, coach, communicator, amateur photographer, health-, renovation- and interior design nerd, hobby barista and who loves all the beautiful things in life.
Having lived abroad for more than twenty years with amazing experiences, cultures and lessons learnt, I, like all of us, have gone through all sorts of personal and professional challenges from moving alone in a country where I did not yet speak the language, dealing with internal corporate conflicts and uttermost complex situations – and nonetheless, have also been fortunate to work in amazing work cultures by contrast -, to manoeuvring demanding traumatic, cultural, human and family situations that somehow needed to be resolved.
Sometimes they did, and in other cases I walked around for years with wounds inside me that took decades to heal.
Today, you are reading this because one day I chose to walk a new path. A path that involved personal sacrifices, goodbyes, chances and at the same time opened doors I never imagined existed.
Yoga, communication, leadership & music have thus long been my faithful companions. It was somehow natural to become curious in depth to expand my understanding of why I have so far reacted and acted the way I have, or not, to primarily find a path that felt authentic, and absolutely sustainable and possible for how I wanted to live on these days that come and go.
So with a focus on the individual human as a whole entity, empathic leadership focus, conscious, compassionate communication and broad somatic yoga teaching experience and creativity as a foundation, I decided to attend various international trainings abroad in ayurveda, mindfulness, vipassana meditation, sustainable leadership, self-compassion, grief processing, coaching, stress management and trauma therapy methods, to understand and develop my own potential for these themes on a deeper level.
The point of utmost importance of the inner journeys of learning I came to realise was this: no matter what fundamental wonders and crises we individually experience in this earthly life, the empirical, continuous practice of conscious presence in the present moment can become an invaluable asset on the path to inner peace, acceptance and a meaningfully lived life – if we are ready to allow it and, non-judgmentally, devotedly, frequently practice it. I tell myself and my clients: “it may not always be easy… but it is possible!” In the present, we learn to appreciate all that we have actually been blessed with, and don’t have to strive to be somewhere else where we haven’t arrived yet. If we don’t feel ready for it yet, or afraid to slow down, we find a way to embrace even this, which is the present, right here and now.
With mindfulness as a foundation together with a focus on sustainable and conscious inner leadership, I want to inspire you or your organization to dare to take the step to a more authentic and healthy life. WHOLE offers tools for emotional and cognitive stability, recovery, resilience, inner strength and full potential as an individual or as a team and business.

What does human really mean and what does it entail? Whole Institute sees that being whole as a human being can be described as being and developing from our inherent, natural wisdom. We can do this by being present, compassionate, open and careful in a psychologically safe sphere where non-judgement is a central foundation. If we are highly sensitive, have gone through indescribable, perhaps not yet fully processed tough crises, illnesses or traumas, it is all the more important to be careful – both for ourselves and towards others. With care comes compassion. However, we are often hindered by the demands of society, by unspoken family expectations and, above all, by the expectations or feelings of guilt we have for ourselves. Being allowed and able to take the space to be fully human both as an individual and in community with others is a necessary condition for feeling good as a whole.

Sustainability has become a buzzword in today’s society. But what do we actually need to be sustainable as human beings? In our work, it means taking a long-term perspective and a holistic one, whether you come to us as an individual or an organization. We don’t just look at how you take care of the perhaps obvious implied basic needs such as exercising regularly, eating right and sleeping well to function in the workplace – which also often need a closer look. It is so much more fundamental about learning to listen authentically to your inner self and needs that may not have taken the necessary place in your life so far due to, among other things, other things in life that have come in between, as it does in life. We guide and train in a qualitative, psychologically reassuring way and offer tools based on research, empirical work experience and personal development to enable you to take control of and possibly change your own behaviours, your inner leadership, team, business and your emotional response to yourself and others. It is our ambition that you will feel that it is actually possible to live a sustainable life!

In order to find meaning in life, we all need to have a sense of place, of belonging, of being and living who we are, for real, IRL (in real life). Living meaningfully is possible when we stop in the present, listen authentically inward, pause, reflect and listen again to what we really need and want to do in this earth life. It often takes a lot of patience and as most of us know, Rome wasn’t built in a day – it takes time.
Therefore, we want you to know that you are accepted just as you are, to develop at your own pace with us with our guidance or training. This, so that you and your organization can find a way to embrace what we need and want to create and then
